Fresh Market Grand Opening

DAPHNE, AL (WALA) - The Fresh Market, a specialty grocery store, is celebrating the grand opening of its Daphne store.

Grand opening festivities will begin at 8:45 a.m., November 14th, with a "Cracking of the Parmesan," a gourmet version of the traditional ribbon-cutting event. This will be followed by a day of opening activities which include: a free reusable shopping bag and sample bag of coffee to the first 1,000 customers, food sampling stations from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and chef demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Additionally, customers attending the grand opening can sign up for the store's weekly "Fresh Ideas" e-mail and enter drawings for $100 The Fresh Market Gift Cards. Five drawings will be held for customers who sign up between Wednesday, November 14 and Sunday, November 18. Chef demonstrations and sampling will continue through Saturday.
