PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Pensacola Police said North Spring Street between Cervantes and Garden streets opened to two-way traffic around 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
PPD advised drivers to use caution with the new traffic pattern and asked them to park in the direction of traffic flow if using on-street parking after Nov. 20.
Variable message signs are stationed at Garden and Cervantes streets, and signage indicating two-way traffic has been installed along the entire length of Spring Street.
The two-way conversion of Baylen Street is currently underway, and Baylen Street will be reopened to two-way traffic in approximately two weeks.
