DAPHNE, Ala. (WALA) - Wal-Mart was rolling back prices while one thief was rolling out with electronics. Daphne Police say the security cameras caught it all on tape.
The crime happened Friday, February 19.
"Apparently the prices aren't low enough for him, so he took it upon himself to get the ultimate low price of free, and walk out with it," said Detective Joe Sullivan.
Investigators said the man was caught on camera stealing the electronics.
"He took an HP desktop computer, valued close to $700," said Sullivan.
Detectives say the man simply walked to the electronics section, loaded up a computer, and left as if no crime has been committed.
"I guess they think the company has so much inventory they are not going to notice, but they did," he added.
Wal-Mart employees told police this isn't the first time they have seen the man do this.
Investigators believe the man is from the Eastern Shore.
"I believe he is, to be that familiar with the store and procedures, especially during that time," Sullivan said.
Now, police need your help to catch him. Police say when he's caught, the man may face additional charges from previous cases.
