Toddler recovering from dog bites

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Josh Shelton, the father of 3-year-old Madisyn Shelton, says his daughter was released from the hospital Saturday evening and is in good spirits.

Madisyn was attacked last week by dogs in the Semmes area.

She has had to have 160 stitches and is not able to sit up, but doctors say she shows no signs of infection.
