The mayor of Newark, NJ. came up with a challenge, along with one of his Twitter followers, to spend a week eating only what food stamps can buy.

The ‘Food Stamp Challenge’ was born after Newark Mayor Cory Booker and a Twitter follower got into an exchange about the entitlement program.

Booker will have about $33 to spend on food for a week and will provide updates through social media.

What foods would you buy if you had to feed yourself on $33 for a week?
