PACT program to hold meeting in Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. - All interested Prepaid Affordable College Tuition (PACT) Program contract holders and supporters are invited to attend the first Mobile area meeting of Save Alabama PACT.

The meeting will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2009, in the Auditorium of Mobile Gas Company, 2828 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Ala. at 2:00 p.m.

So far, committed to speak are Senator Vivian Figures, representing the 33rd District - Mobile; and the three candidates for State Treasurer, Jeremy Scherer; Terry Dunn; and George Wallace, Jr.

The purpose of the meeting is to hear an update on the efforts of Save Alabama PACT to date, to meet other PACT supporters, and to identify ways that individuals can help with Save Alabama PACT activities.

Save Alabama PACT is dedicated to making sure that ALL Alabama Prepaid Affordable College Tuition contracts are honored by the State of Alabama. All interested PACT contract holders and supporters are invited to attend the meeting whether or not they have joined Save Alabama PACT.
