MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Bay Area Food Bank and Crescent Theater are working together to screen a documentary “which shines a spotlight on our nation’s hunger epidemic.”

A Facebook event page has been set up for the screenings of A Place at the Table, which will run through March 20 at the downtown theater.

Tickets to the screenings are available online for $10.

The theater will also collect donations of food and funds for the food bank, and on March 19, a portion of the proceeds from the screenings will be donated to help end hunger.

These screenings bring the movie closer than the next available ones, in Baton Rouge, La. and Tampa, Fla.
