On Saturday, October 6, the Rotary Club of North Mobile will be hosting its 3rd Annual Touch-A-Truck event in the parking lot of First Baptist Church North Mobile (1251 Industrial Parkway-Saraland) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Children (and adults) will have the opportunity to enjoy and learn about all kinds of trucks, plus meet the skilled people who handle these vehicles daily.
Also, attending will be antique car clubs and educational vehicles such as the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Mobile.
Several food and drink vendors will be setup for your convenience.
Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes, so they can “Truck or Treat”. Admission is $3 for ages 3 and up. All proceeds of the event will be used to provide automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) to public schools in the North Mobile area.
There are sponsorship opportunities and room for more vendors. For more information contact J.T. Murray at 461-2240.
