Baldwin Co. announces tax-free holiday

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. - The Baldwin County Commission has adopted Resolution 2009-76, which allows the exemption of Baldwin County sales and use tax for certain items such as school supplies, computers and clothing.

This adoption is supported by the Baldwin County Board of Education.

The Sales Tax Holiday will begin at 12:01 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2009, and continue through 12:00 a.m., Sunday, August 9, 2009.
