Foreclosure victim gets her house back

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - City leaders were on hand Monday to unveil the first success story for Mobile's Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).

Marcella Moran was handed the keys to the very home she lost to foreclosure in 2008. Moran says she became ill and fell behind on the mortgage. She never dreamed she would one day get the home back.

Not only did Moran get the home back, it's completely remodeled inside and out.

NSP is a partnership of four groups, Housing First, Bay Area Women Coalition, Mobile Community Action, and the Mobile Historic Development Commission.
