Coat Drive

You can make this winter a warmer one for those in need in our community.  We are collecting coats!
The coats can be new or gently used, that's up to you.  But, with the temperatures dropping, it's getting harder and harder for those in need to stay warm.  If you'd like to help, here's what you do:  just go to Bel Air Mall in Mobile on Saturday, December 15, 2012 and drop off your donation at the Gap store.  Click here for all the details.  Bel Air Mall Marketing Manager Shelley Rehberg explains, "what we're asking for is new or gently used men's, women's and children's coats.  And, those who bring in a qualifying donation will receive a $10 gift card in exchange."

This is all part of Volunteers of America's 10 Caring Gifts program!  This is a way for you to give back and help others this holiday season.  It's really easy to get involved.  Just click here for a whole list of ideas of things you can do to give back this holiday season.  For example, you can donate to our food drive.  We're collecting non-perishable food items at local Greer's stores .  And, we're also collecting toys to help some special children, who are separated from their families through no fault of their own,  have a special holiday.  You can drop off new, unwrapped toys at any Trax Tires location .

As you can see, there are lots of ways to get involved this holiday season!  We are going to be working with the Volunteers of America throughout the holidays.  And, we'll continue to show you what a difference one person, one-group and one-good deed can make.  We really hope you will get involved!
