SAN FRANCISCO - Now you can start with pictures, instead of text, to find what you're looking for on the internet.
If you've ever wanted to find a certain celebrity, or breed of dog online and you know what they look like, but can't think of their name, your in luck.
Now, search engine, "bing", has a new "visual search" function with galleries of digital cameras, new cars, U.S. Politicians, and more!
Let's say you saw someone walking the cutest dog you've ever seen, but you have no clue what the breed is. You can scroll through images of different breeds to find the one you're looking for, instead of searching through Web page after web page.
You can even narrow the search down by dogs that are hypoallergenic, or Toy breeds.
There are about 50 galleries of images in the new Bing visual search bin, but more will be added.
So whatever you're looking for, when you know what it looks like, but you can't put you finger on the name, Bing.com visual galleries can help.
