You can find out by going to the website, www.recovery.gov.

To see where the money is going, just click on the state where you live.

A map will pop up. Type in your zip code, and click go.

You will be able to see the dollar amount of grants, contracts, and loans awarded in your part of town.

If you want to know about money in a certain agency, like the Department of Justice, or the Department of Housing and Urban Development, just enter your state and the agency, and click on the department.

You can also see jobs created, or saved in your area.
