DAILY DOT COM - With the New Year comes another way of capturing videos to share with your friends. Telly is one of many websites where users can share videos online with their friends. Telly however is a little different; in that it not only organizes videos users like on the web but also the one they create.
Once upon a time Telly was known asTwitVid, the video-sharing service for Twitter, but the company decided to reinvent itself.
Anyone can join Telly. Just log onto the site, and log in with a Facebook, Twitter or email account. When users sign on to Telly, they pick interests and users to follow, and then get a personalized feed of videos delivered to them.
And while you can share the videos you collect from sites like Vimeo, YouTube, and Hulu...Telly is more about sharing the videos you create yourself.
Like with Instgram, users on Telly can take videos and spruce them up by applying filters. They can also add music to their creations. After you make the video, Telly encourages you to share them from your smartphone, by downloading the free app .
Telly tries to make sharing videos you like easy. In what the site calls, collections, users see a set of videos built around a common theme...for example best of Family Guy, Funny Expressions or Your Top Vids.
Theres also a Popular videos sections that shows what's currently hot on Telly, but users can also browse through specific categories including, funny, tunes, or cute. And if you find something you like, you can share it on sites like Facebook or Twitter.
Have you used Telly? If so what are your thoughts? Leave your comments below.
