And if you are looking to become the next music video star, there is another way to do it.  It's with an application appropriately named, " Video Star ."

So what makes Video Star different, than say just picking up a camera and bolting out your favorite tune?  The answer is simple; the app is really easy to use and requires no editing.

Download the app, to get started, and then select a song from your iTunes library, or buy a new one from the Music Store.

Once you’ve picked your song, you can play around with some of the settings like, the speed, pitch and start/end times.

When you are ready to record your new video, press the red button to hear the music to start performing.  Just make sure you know the words, because you’ll be lip-syncing.

A number of effects are free, including a strobing effect, hesitation feature, or option to trim your video.

People are having a lot of fun with this -- dancing and singing their hearts away.

You can record the videos from anywhere; all you need is an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

One button uploads the video to YouTube, or you an just save it to your camera roll.  Video star has a social element too that lets users watch videos created by others and rate them on sites like Facebook or Twitter.
