DAILY DOT COM - There are some big changes on Facebook.com. The social media website has given its news feed a bit of a makeover. According to a short blog posting , the changes center on the "News Feed" - where most people check in to find out what's going on.
And users are being given more control to sort out photos and other materials to better appeal to their personal interests. You will also be able to organize the feed by the categories and topics you are most interested in.

Facebook says the redesign is an attempt to learn more about its users and keep people coming back…so the company can sell more advertising.
Facebook says it started rolling out the changes Thursday, so if you’ve logged onto today…chances are…the site looked a little different.
