MOBILE, Ala. - Combined H1N1 and seasonal flu are spreading like wildfire around the globe. So far, 100-thousand people have been hospitalized, and nearly 4-thousand have died. So how do you keep with all the information you need to know?
Keeping up with the latest flu information can be difficult, but the Centers For Disease control is trying to make things easier with their website. According to the CDC, flu is considered widespread in 46 of 50 states and in the last few weeks the flu has become responsible for an ever-growing number of doctors visits.
At the site you can also find information on vaccines to prevent the flu, including a flu shot finder, and treatments if you happen to contract the flu.
In a last note, the CDC says the numbers are unprecedented for this time of year. Normally flu season doesn't peak until January or February.
