New Samsung Galaxy S III

DAILY DOT COM - The next generation Samsung Galaxy is here.  The Samsung S III was unveiled at the company's headquarters on Thursday in London

According to the Financial Times, Samsung's Galaxy S will give the Apple product a run for its money.  The 4G LTE phone comes with a 1.4 quad-core processor -- one of the first ever on a smart phone.  It also has a giant 4.8-inch HD display, twice the size of the iPhone

There's a lot to like about the phone, including an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, gaming and music hubs but most bloggers are fixated on the "S-Voice" feature

Samsung says the technology gives the phone the brains to discern the sound of your specific voice and face from others.  So users can give commands to the phone, without lifting a finger.  For instance, if the phone's alarm clock is going off and you're not yet ready to get up, you can just say snooze to the phone.  The same feature can also be used to send emails, or organize your schedules

There's buzz that the phone could be the official phone for the 2012 Olympics, which Samsung is sponsoring.  The Galaxy S III will hit the market in Europe first, going on sale May 29.  The device is expected to be released in the U.S. in June
