DAILY DOT COM - Yahoo is taking your television viewing experience and kicking it up a notch. The search engine company unveiled the updated version of its IntoNow social TV app. The app lets you connect with friends, capture moments while you watch and discover more about the show.
The app initially launched on January 31, 2011. Many tech reporters described it as the Shazam for TVs. Viewers just hold their device up to a television, and IntoNow would listen to the soundtrack, and then identify it with nearly perfect accuracy.
The app still does that now --just a whole lot more with Tuesday's upgrades.

The updated app is available for free in the iTunes store. The Android version is expected out within a few months.
