This week's Chris Myers Extra Mile Award goes to High Hopes out of Elberta.
High Hopes is a not-for-profit organization that serves preschool and elementary age children with autism disorders and other developmental delays.
The main goal is to integrate the children into traditional classrooms.
"We teach social skills, academic skills - basically anything they need to be successful in the traditional classrooms.," Rachael Mueller with High Hopes said.
The $500 check will go toward the purchase of an additional iPad. It's a great learning tool for the children.
