FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WALA) - This week's Chris Myers Nissan Extra Mile award goes to the Baldwin County Humane Society's Kitten Kaboodle Program.
BARC is a no-kill facility. It rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes adoptable animals.
"We have 5 primary programs, Kitten Kaboodles cat adoption program, dog adopt and tranpsortation program, positive therapy, Barc pet food pantry and spay and neuter program," said Sonja Presley with BARC.
This $500 check will will provide basic medical care for about 60 cats in the Kitten Kaboodle program.
