Chris Myers Nissan Extra Mile Award: Cooking for the Community

This week's Chris Myers Nissan Extra Mile Award goes to Cooking for the Community .

"Cooking for the Community is a group located in Fairhope, Alabama that has been set up to aid and help families that are in need. Whether it is through housing needs, financial needs or even educational needs," said Slade McClendon with Cooking for the Community.

The $500 check will go toward the group's latest project which includes tearing down a home and building a new one.
