Chris Myers Extra Mile Award: Children's Tumor Foundation

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - This week's Chris Myers Automall Extra Mile Award goes to the Children's Tumor Foundation .

Their mission is to help fund research and provide information, programs and services for millions worldwide who live with neurofibromatosis.

They'll be doing a walk in New Orleans to raise money for medical research of the disease.

Michelle McDonald, Children’s Tumor Foundation: "The walk is scheduled for June 10th at 7am in New Orleans on the River Walk at the Hilton. It's going to be a guided tour so you'll get to see the old buildings and different places like that."

This $500 check will be used to help contribute to that cause.
