Extra Mile: E. Maxi Service Club

(WALA) - This week's Chris Myers Automall Extra Mile Award goes to the E. Maxi Service Club.

"We're the E Maxi Service Club and we are a Christian non-profit organization that helps when people need it and we find it [the need] to be true. We annually donate to the Salvation Army and the Waterfront Mission," said Angela Oliver.

In addition to the Salvation Army, they also donate to Dixon's Total Touch Development School in Prichard.

A portion of the $500 check will be used for donations including the Starla Chapman Fund.
