MOBILE, Ala. - It took less than a day for last week's suspect on Fox 10 News Fugitive Files to surrender. That means it's time to look for someone new.
He's a man who already has 5 active warrants for violent crimes like robbery and assault. Now, police say he's wanted for a shooting.
Mobile Police tell me the crime happened about a month ago, in front of the VIP Barber shop at 2523 St. Stephens Road. That's where they say, our suspect confronted a man, who he claimed, owed him money. Mobile Police Corporal Charles Bagsby told me, “Yeah, he asked him for money. The victim told him that he didn't have any money. He told the victim to empty his pockets. When he didn't get any money from the victim, he shot him.”
Williams, who's known on the street as "Baller", is 22 years old, 6 foot 1 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He may be driving a black Grand-Am or Trans-Am. If you know where police can find him, call the Fox 10 News Fugitive Files-Crimestoppers Hotline at 251-208-7000.
You might see Williams in the 29 hundred block of Lott Road in Eight Mile or in the Toulminville area. Either way, he has 5 active warrants, and police want your help to find him.
