FUGITIVE FILES Stolen checks

MOBILE, Ala. - Fox 10 News Fugitive Files is ready to catch another suspect with your help.

His name is Andrew Cooper. He's accused of stealing 18 checks from a woman he knew on the 4100 block of Carmel Drive in Mobile, and going on a spending spree with her money.

Mobile Police Officer Christopher Levy told me, "While she was out of town, he went to various parts of Mobile and cashed and wrote these checks in the excess of 10 thousand dollars."

Police tell me this kind of crime is nothing new for Cooper. He is on parole right now, and has active warrants for theft and possession of a forged instrument. He has a history of theft and domestic violence. Call and turn him in right now.
