MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE:  FOX10 News Fugitive Files suspect Barbara Beckham surrendered less than 24 hours after being profiled on FOX10.  She is the 543rd suspect to be arrested after appearing on FOX10 and the 286th suspect to surrender.

Your phone calls helped Mobile Police track down last week's suspect on FOX10 News Fugitive Files.  You can make a difference now by keeping your eyes open and your phone, close by.

Mobile Police want to find Barbara Ann Beckham, who used to live at 1067 Arlington Street.  She faces a theft charge involving a local bank.

Corporal Christopher Levy said, "We found out through an investigation that back in August, she deposited a counterfeit check into the bank for $1900, then withdrew $1700 from that counterfeit check. [She has] a long history of writing bad checks, so this appears to be, what she does."

Beckham is 39 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 195 pounds.  If you know where to find her, call the FOX10 News Fugitive Files/Crimestoppers Hotline at 251-208-7000.

Police say she cashed the counterfeit check on August 23, 2012 at the Bank of the Ozarks at 200 Dauphin Street in downtown Mobile.  If you recognize her, call and turn her in.
