Money stolen on way to the bank

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE:  FOX10 News Fugitive Files suspect Deveais Williams surrendered, less than 24 hours after being profiled on FOX10 News.  He is the 539th suspect to be arrested and the 283rd to surrender.

Mobile Police need your help to find Fugitive Files suspect Deveais Williams who is accused of robbing an employee of a fast food restaurant.  Police say the crime happened on the morning of September 24 on Theodore Dawes Road.

Police spokesperson Ashley Rains said, "Mr. Williams approached the victim who was taking the bank deposit from the Burger King restaurant to the bank. He actually produced a handgun and demanded the money from her.  No one was injured."

Police now believe Williams is the one who committed the crime.  He is 24 years old, 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds.  If you know where police can find him, call the FOX10 News Fugitive Files/Crimestoppers Hotline at 251-208-7000.  Williams' last known address is Bayshore Avenue in Mobile.

Williams has been arrested in the past for carrying a pistol without a permit.
