FUGITIVE FILES UPDATE Dragged and run over

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE:  Fugitive Files suspect Rowan Young surrendered at the Mobile County Metro Jail less than a day after appearing on FOX10.

Mobile Police say Young is wanted for turning a handshake at the end of an argument into a vicious attack.  Police say it started at 2206 Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile on June 4, 2012.

"The victim walked up to Mr. Young and put his hand out to shake his hand.  That's when Mr. Young reached out like he was going to shake his hand, grabbed him, jumped into a vehicle, pulled the victim's hand into the vehicle and started to drive off.  He dragged the victim about 15 feet  and actually ran over his legs," said Mobile Police Corporal Christopher Levy.

Young is 21 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds.  If you know where police can find him, call the FOX10 News Fugitive Files/Crimestoppers Hotline at 251-208-7000. Young's only previous arrests are for traffic offenses.

His last known address is 2317 Boykin Boulevard in Mobile.  Police have been looking for him since June. You can turn him in with one call.
