MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE: Fox 10 News Fugitive Files suspect Demetrius Irby surrendered at the Mobile County Metro Jail on May 16. He is the 514th suspect to be arrested after appearing on Fox 10 News Fugitive Files.
Our 512th suspect profiled on Fox 10 News Fugitive Files was arrested last week. That's proof that once you show up here, there's no place left to hide, especially if you live in a car that's really easy to spot.
That's why Demetrius Irby might as well give up right now. He's wanted for breaking into his ex-girlfriend's house and trying to shoot her brother.
Mobile Police Corporal Christopher Levy said, "Mr. Irby produced a handgun and actually fired shots at the ex-girlfriend's brother in the house". As for a last known address for Irby, Levy said, "He basically lives in his car. It shouldn't be that hard to find. It's a '96 Grand Marquis with the front windshield broken out, up front... He'll be the guy sleeping in his car".
Irby, who has no fixed address but might be seen around R.V. Taylor, is 28 years old, 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. If you know where to find him, call the Fox 10 News Fugitive Files/Crimestoppers Hotline at 251-208-7000.
