MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE: Authorities tell FOX10 News Ladarius Moorer, "Stank-Man," gave up Wednesday evening just a few hours after being featured on Fugitive Files. He was accused of shooting into an occupied vehicle wounding a man.
His real name is Ladarius Moorer, who is accused of attacking a couple and child who were driving home from a day of fishing. Police say the crime happened on May 31 near Edwards and Green Streets.
Mobile Police spokesperson Ashley Rains said, "The suspect approached them and actually shot into the car and struck the victim who actually drove himself to the hospital". The victim was shot in the chest and suffered life-threatening injuries.
Moorer's street name is "Stank-Mann". He's 19 years old, 5 foot 8 and weighs 160 pounds. He's been arrested in the past for resisting arrest and possession of marijuana.
