FUGITIVE FILES UPDATE:: Tattoos help ID suspect

MOBILE, Ala. - UPDATE:  Mobile Police credit Fox 10 News viewers with helping catch Josef Stewart.   He was arrested hours after his picture was shown again on Fox 10 News Fugitive Files.

Mobile police say this week's suspect on FOX10 News Fugitive Files made it pretty easy to identify him.

His name is Josef Stewart, and he might have either close cropped hair or dreadlocks.

Police say on December 12, Stewart stole a check from a mailbox and tried to cash it at a bank on Old Shell Road. Keep in mind, it was a check on its way to pay a phone bill.

"I viewed the check and it's obvious. It says AT&T. It's scratched over with an ink pen, and then it says 'Josef Stewart'. And he left his driver's license behind with the teller," Mobile Police Officer Christopher Levy told me.

Stewart, also known as Huggie Bear, is 26-years-old, 6 foot 3 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds. He also has a lot of tattoos, including the word "One" on the right side of his neck.
