Candace Murphy

Candace Murphy joined the FOX10 News team as a videojournalist in August 2011.

She was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia and spent four magnificent years in Tuscaloosa at The University of Alabama where she learned to love football. ROLL TIDE!

While there, Candace earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism and was part of the Million Dollar Band Colorguard and Winterguard. She is also a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority.

At Alabama, Candace interned with WVUA-TV as a videojournalist and producer. She was huddled under the WVUA anchor desk on April 27 when the tornado tore through Tuscaloosa. She spent the next three months covering the national story before joining the FOX10 team.

Candace is very blessed to have a fun loving Catholic family that supports her spontaneous optimistic attitude.

In her free time you can find Candace dancing, painting and exploring the outdoors.
