Joe Salvatore

Videojournalist

Joe Salvatore joined FOX10 News in September 2011 as a videojournalist.

He traveled 2,400 miles, from California, with his wife for the opportunity to work as a news journalist. They've both been taken aback by the friendliness of those they've met here in Mobile.

Joe received his bachelor's degree in broadcasting from San Jose State University in Northern California. During his time at SJSU, Joe interned at several bay area California TV news stations and then worked on a freelance basis with an NBC station in production.

Before following his passion into TV broadcasting Joe had stints as a competitive swimmer, adventure racer, and part-time background actor.

Joe is proud to be a part of FOX10 News and a resident of Mobile. His only wish is to tell moving stories about real people that will move you, and make a decision about which football team to root for.

If you have a story idea for Joe, send him an email . He'd love to hear from you.
