Runoff election results Oct. 23, 2012

BAY MINETTE

Bay Minette has a new mayor-elect. Bob Wills won a runoff Tuesday night against Mike Phillips. Wills received 935 votes, to 563 votes for Phillips.  

ELBERTA

Don Koontz Sr. won the race for Elberta Town Council, Place 5. Koontz received 120 votes, while his opponent Chris Bourne got 63 votes

ROBERTSDALE

Ruthie Campbell won the race for Robertsdale Council Place 3.  Campbell received 216 votes. Aubrey Grant Sr. received 171 votes.

DAUPHIN ISLAND

Stephen Denmark beat Richard McKean for Place 1 with 270 votes to 210.

O.P. Philip Patronas won against Kay Breitenfeld for Place 3 with 270 votes to 213.

BAYOU LA BATRE

Current Mayor Stan Wright is leading Henry Barnes Sr., 261 to 249. However, officials said provisional ballots must be counted and are not included in the current tally. 

Officials said there will be a Special Council Meeting at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Bayou La Batre City Hall, 13785 S Wintzell Avenue, Bayou La Batre, AL 36509

PRICHARD

Prichard has a new mayor-elect. Troy Ephriam beat current Mayor Ron Davis 2784 to 1337.

Council District 1:  Lorenzo Martin won with 522 votes to Herman Towner  395

Council District 2: Earline Martin-Harris beat Gwendolyn Williams 332 to 298

Council District 3: Derrick Griffin  won over Alberta Young with 559 votes to 337.

Council District 4: George McCall, Jr.  beat Donnell Hunter 455 to 433.
