Escambia County to recount county commission District 1 votes

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) - The Escambia County Canvassing Board for the August 14, 2012 Primary Election will meet to conduct a recount of the ballots for the candidate race of County Commissioner, District 1.

In this race, Wilson Robertson was the apparent winner, with 3,354 votes, to Jesse Casey’s 3,331.

The meeting will take place at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 213 Palafox Place, second floor, Pensacola on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 9 a.m. and will continue until complete.

In accordance with the Sunshine Law of Florida, all Canvassing Board meetings are open to the public.
