This week, its time for part two of our fantastic fishing trip with my long time friend Captain Joey Gates. After the trout bite slowed, it was time to go on the hunt for the elusive tripletail. Also known as blackfish, they often hang around floating objects in the summertime. It didn’t take long for us to locate a really nice fish.
For tripletail fishing, we like to use a really big shrimp. Try the biggest one in the box. If you see a fish, cast past him and reel up to fish.
