Fishing on the Causeway

I recently took a trip out to the Mobile Tensaw Delta to do some trout fishing. The fishing is really at its peak right now.

We started out heading up river and ran into some fog early. But as soon as the fog lifted, we really got into the fish. Click on the video tab to see what we caught.

I saw some birds working and caught a few fish really quickly on a sparkle beetle under a popping cork. The fish are starting to transition deeper now, and I also found a large number of fish willing to hit a grub on a plain 3/8 oz lead head. 

We caught a ton of fish on this particular trip and the bite continued throughout the day. Coming up next week I will show you part II as I get into a really nice redfish.
