Outdoors: Bass fishing on Dog River

MOBILE, Ala. - This week on FOX10 Outdoors, we head to local waters behind the FOX10 News studios.
We go bass fishing in Dog River. Most of these fish are about one pound. High winds made for tough fishing this week, but things improved by Wednesday and it was time to try some bass fishing.
The creeks warm up quicker than the main river after a cold snap. Try heading to the backs of creeks for more active fish.
The fish wanted soft plastics on 1/4 oz lead heads, rigged weedless. We were able to catch a good number of bass up Halls Mill Creek.
FOX10 Outdoors is now expanding to a 30 minute show. You can catch us at 10:00 p.m. on the CW on Saturday night. We are also on at 10:00 a.m. on FOX10 on Sunday morning.
