Plenty of action topwater fishing

Remember that record cold morning we had on Tuesday, April 23? Meteorologist Jason Smith takes us out fishing on that beautiful day on Fox Ten Outdoors in HD.

It was a crisp, cool April morning. The wind can be an issue this time of year, but this particular day started out calm. I started out working the edge of a shallow grass flat.

Quiet mornings are ideal for topwater lures like the Mirrolure She Dog. Topwater fishing can be action packed, but sometimes the fish short strike. But, you will hook your share of keepers too!
