GULF COAST, Ala. - Legal Louisiana trout, all they have to be is 12 inches here and you can keep twenty versus the ten back home.
Most of my fish have come little bit more to the left or little bit more to the east of where I figured the fish would be in here. These trout in here, really thick, we won't have to use corks, we can just use whatever. Another speckle trout, catching some Louisiana specials here.
We're looking for fish that a little bit bigger than twelve inches. We were only looking for 14 or 15 inch fish and we've been keeping a lot of trout lately on the causeway, so, we figured we probably put more fish back in here.
The tides coming towards the boat. And the fish are probably feeding up about as high as 20 yards ahead of the birds. You can see shrimp hopping for their lives. The other thing here too and this is courtesy of my camera guy has a top water lure back there I can throw that out there and I might catch little bit more quality fish.
We've got a great looking area here this is just text book because there is a lot of change in depth, that's a better fish right there to. Little Louisiana speckle trout and what's happening here is, you can see right in front of the boat , where this tide is coming along here. It's creating an eddy so it's pretty slick where we're sitting right this particular spot , right in front of us there's a lot of tide movement through here.
