Redfish still biting

On my recent bass fishing trip with tournament angler Logan Marston, we had an action packed morning. The large mouth were biting well and so were some other hard fighting species.

My first fish of the day was not a bass, it was a legal redfish. When you are bass fishing in this brackish water, you have both saltwater fish and freshwater fish mixed together and they are feeding on the same stuff. They are feeding on shrimp and like a gold looking spinnerbait.. It's real common to catch these redfish when you are bass fishing. We caught a bunch of nice reds on this particular day..
