When you're fishing for speckle trout you never know when the bite's going to stop.

When you're fishing in muddy water, and you're fishing around a group of birds, the birds are skittish, the trout are skittish, you may be fishing in shallow water too, so they can sense the boat, you want to catch fish as quickly as possible.

You get the bait out there, you pop a cork, it goes down, you just reel that fish in as quick as you can without ripping the lure out of his mouth. Swing him in, unhook him and go again.

That's why artificial bait is so much better than live bait. You don't have to take the time to get the shrimp out of the box, he's wiggling around and you get him on, on a hook and then you're spending all this money on live bait that you don't need, use that artificial.
