NEW ORLEANS, Louis. (WALA) - UPDATE #3: Trent Richardson a 34 yard touchdown marking the first touchdown of the game. Bama leads 21-0 with under five minutes left in the game.

UPDATE # 2 Bama leads 15-0 heading into the final quarter. Jeremy Shelley has successfully completed five field goals.

UPDATE: Jeremy Shelley 35 yard field goal good. Bama 12-0 in the 3rd.

 

HALFTIME UPDATE: Behind three Jeremy Shelley field goals, the Alabama Crimson Tide lead the LSU Tigers 9-0 at the half.

Shelley has hit from 23,34, and 41 yards, but was blocked on a 42-yard attempt.

LSU has done very little with the football, only managing 43 total yards. Starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson is 6/7 for 26 yards.

Bama quarterback A.J. McCarron is 18/25 for 156 yards.
