MOBILE, Ala. - Before you even come through the front door, you can tell the Friedman family is divided between Alabama and Auburn.

Josh Friedman graduated from the University of Alabama. His wife, Margie Friedman graduated from Auburn University. They are both avid football fans.

Josh said they usually watch the game in two different rooms. "We usually have the games on in the house but we make the Auburn fans watch it downstairs on the small tv and the Alabama fans watch it upstairs in the big screen tv."

Even though the two cheer against each other's teams, the annual game always brings back a special memory for both of them.

Margie said they knew each other in high school, but it was at an Iron Bowl when they matched up. "Actually we met again in college at an Auburn-Alabama game. He came up to see some of his Auburn friends so we kind of like the Auburn-Alabama game."

The Friedman's have two little boys and they are passing on their passion for their teams to them.

"Jackson is our Auburn fan and Brooks is our little Alabama fan," explained Margie.

The family is evenly divided on teams, but Josh says it doesn't go any further than the game. "I'm a die hard Alabama fan but in the end we all get along great as family and that's what is most important."
