MIAMI (WALA) - They're coming by car, plane and boat. Alabama fans are heading to South Florida where it's all about football for the next few days.
Rose Lenard and her crew flew down from Chicago a week ago and decided to extend their vacation to watch the Crimson Tide take on the Fighting Irish.
She’s spent the last couple of days cruising around the coast but she’s not on land, she’s traveling via boat.
“To experience it this way is different because we've never done it this way before so we’re excited,” said Leonard.
She said Miami is the perfect place for the match up. Not only is it neutral ground but the area has a lot to offer the fans.
“I think we have a little bit of everything. We have some great bars in the South Beach area, you have people who can come in by boat; you have people who are coming in by land and we frequent this marina quite a bit,” said Leonard.
She’ll be in the stands at Sun Life Stadium Monday for the game and she’s making sure everyone knows her crew is all about Bama.
Leonard said she’s going to spend the next few days with her friends spending time in the sun and relaxing on the boat. She’s also considering staying until next Friday because the weather is much warmer than Chicago.
