NEW ORLEANS, La. (WALA) - Alabama fans celebrated throughout Monday night in New Orleans after the Crimson Tide won yet another national championship.

Bama fans rushed Bourbon Street within just minutes of the game ending.

"Sweet Home Alabama" played out of every bar and "Roll Tide" was heard around every corner.

"The atmosphere is insane because we are in New Orleans and it's Crimson. Now how many championships are we talking? 14!!!!" said one Bama fan in the heart of the action.

However, for those in purple and gold the game was nothing short of disappointing.

Many LSU fans walked out of the Superdome, frustrated, before the game even ended

"It's deflating. It's deflating, ok? You know, I don’t understand why we don’t see Jared Lee towards the end of that game," said one LSU fan.

"Angry. Angry. There is absolutely no offense," said another LSU fan about the outcome of the game. "You take a month to prepare with all the talent you have on a team and get 100 yards total offense?"

Some Bama fans couldn't help but rub it in.

"That's number 14, 14 national championships!" said one Bama fan.

"You know what's wrong with LSU guys? They can’t score. They can’t score! But Alabama can score, right?!" said another Alabama fan to an LSU fan nearby.

All the excitement of the BCS National Championship is expected to play out on the streets of the Big Easy through the end of the week.

After that, fans said they'll be taking that excitement home with them.
