Bama, ND fans mingle at Discover Championship Fan Experience

MIAMI (WALA) - The official Discover Championship Fan Experience took place on Sunday, Jan. 6 on South Beach.

Artists, Flo-Rida and Dierks Bentley preformed for both Alabama and Norte Dame fans in advance of the game.

"It is great! I was down in New Orleans last year. I am a Bama graduate so I go to all of these, so Miami is like Bananas,” said Kelvin Sims.

Interactive games and autograph sessions were also a part of the experience. There was plenty of friendly rivalry on the beach.

"Clash of the Titans, baby. Number one versus number two; game of the century. It doesn’t get any better than this,” said an Alabama fan.

The celebration continued well into the day and into the night as fans got ready for the biggest football event of the year.
