MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - University of South Alabama head football coach Joey Jones announced Monday that rising junior Ken Barefield is no longer a member of the program due to a violation of team rules.
Barefield, who lettered in each of the Jaguars’ first three years of competition, ranked fourth on the team with 56 tackles in 2011 including five for loss. He was credited with 114 stops during his time with the program, one of three individuals to record a triple-digit total thus far.
