MOBILE,Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile BayBears hit three home runs on Tuesday night, but only netted four runs from those and fell in the series finale to Chattanooga, 9-4.

Mobile(24-16) dropped three of five in the series and now heads to Tennessee for a five-game series with the Smokies.

Mark Krauss, Matt Davidson and Yazi Arbelo all went deep for the BayBears, whose solid pitching staff could not contain Chattanooga.

Brett Lorin (0-3) took the loss for Mobile, allowing seven runs – only five earned – in five innings of work.

BLUE WAHOOS 2, BARONS 0

PENSACOLA– Josh Fellhauer’s eighth-inning pinch hit two-run homer was enough for the Blue Wahoo’s pitching staff as Pensacola beat Birmingham, 2-0, on Tuesday night.

Three Pensacola pitchers combined on six-hit shutout. Curtis Parch picked up the win, working one inning in relief of starter Tim Crabbe, who tossed seven innings of shutout ball.
